My focus is on graphite art where I strive to capture a likeness or emotion with only the use of a pencil and paper. Values, or the lightness and darkness, are the most important aspect of any artwork, so using these values to accomplish a likeness with only graphite is a challenge, but I feel if it is done properly, the results are exciting!
